We have 4 categories of membership:
Contact membership@ncf.info for more details of subscriptions and registering as an NCF member whichever category you are interested in.
NCF Groups
Groups carry out their own surveys, represent consumers directly on local bodies and publish magazines which are circulated regularly to their members. If you are thinking about setting up a group you may find our Group Setup Guide useful. There is more information on our Groups page.
Agencies with consumer interest
This category encompasses those organisations, such as trading standards departments, voluntary organisations and some professional bodies, which do not in themselves have consumers as members.
Individual Members
If you live in an area where no Group is currently active, you may join as an Individual Member. As such, you will have access to a range of information and facilities through our web site, receive a regular copy of Consumer News (and our email newsletter if you have access), can attend Members Meetings, and the Annual Conference and AGM.
Associates
NCF prefers to work with commercial organisations on issues and activities that clearly make things better for consumers. This does not imply that we are uncritical of poor standard products and service.
Our Associates can expect continuous dialogue with us on consumer improvements where standards fall short and we are always willing to assist them in making those improvements.
As Associate members they have use, with appropriate security, of the web site facilities for their own activities. We are prepared, on occasions, to let them to survey our members on consumer issues.
