NCF is a voluntary organisation, run by and on behalf of its members. It is funded mainly from membership subscriptions and is a registered as a company limited by guarantee and as a charity. There is an elected Executive Committee which normally meets five times a year. NCF’s principal office bearers are currently:

Reporting to the Executive Committee are two operational bodies -

  • the  Finance Committee (comprising the first four officers in the list above) and
  • the Membership Development Group,

and two specialist groups -

to maintain liaison on a range of matters of consumer interest.

The principal officers are elected by the AGM, the others are appointed by the Executive Committee.
